Video Editor

Good Video Editors are storytellers, listeners, and problem solvers all in one. They have a great eye for quality and attention to detail which is imperative when it comes time to edit videos.

• Should have experience of at least 4 years (Experience in travel agency/company is a plus point)
• Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to YouTube
• Should have a decent knowledge of YouTube algorithms
• Following a script, screenplay or outline
• Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting non-Copyright music and writing voice-overs (If needed)
• Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
•  Improving and correcting lighting, colouring and faulty footage
• Working closely with coordinators to present a final product that matches his or her vision

• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
• Patience and concentration
• A high level of self-motivation, commitment and dedication

• Inputting graphics to enhance footage (Plus point)
• Should have a little knowledge of video shoot as well
• Creative choice really matters
• Experiment with styles and techniques & ideas
