Marketing Manager


Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts, including paid advertising campaigns and organic marketing strategies. This role requires a dynamic individual who can balance the strategic and tactical aspects of marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing team, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.

Required Knowledge

1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies encompassing both paid and unpaid channels to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Analyze competitor strategies to inform marketing plans.
2. Campaign Management:
  • Plan, execute, and manage paid marketing campaigns (e.g. social media ads, display ads) to drive traffic and sales.
  • Oversee unpaid marketing efforts including SEO, content marketing, social media.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI.
3. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing clear direction and support.
  • Delegate tasks and projects effectively and ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
4. Content Development:
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials for both paid and unpaid channels.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and external agencies.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Analyse data from paid and unpaid campaigns to measure effectiveness and inform strategy.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions.
6. Brand Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with the company’s brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Develop and enforce brand guidelines.
7. Innovation and Trend Monitoring:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Experiment with new marketing tactics and channels to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Share insights and best practices with the marketing team.

Education + Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s
    degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, experience with both paid and unpaid marketing strategies is essential.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO tools, analytics platforms, etc.).
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
