Jordan Road Trip

The Jordan road trip starts from Amman, the lovely capital of Jordan. Your adventure starts right when your plane lands at Queen Alia International Airport. Our representative will assist you through all immigration and customs procedures. After checking in at the hotel and getting some much-needed rest, you can head to explore the city and experience some of its magic.

Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts - a unique blend of old and new, with majestic hills on one side and the lush Jordan Valley on the other. If you are a history buff, you would particularly enjoy a visit to the Citadel. You can also simply take a stroll under the city lights for a leisurely evening.

At night, we have planned a dinner where you get a chance to get to know your fellow participants as you wine & dine together.

After breakfast, we hit the road to head towards Wadi Rum. The drive consists of cruising along the King's Highway which is arguably one of the most scenic routes in the world.

As you sit behind the wheel of your Land Cruisers witnessing the exceptional sight of the entire convoy navigating the twisting slopes, the rush of adrenaline would be truly unmatched.

The excitement peaks as we reach Wadi Al Hasa, one of Jordan's most breathtaking canyons. Drive through palm tree-lined paths, and discover warm springs, and hidden pools along the winding route of the Wadi that leads to the Dead Sea. Revel in the driving experience, and end the day by glamping in Bedouin-style tents amidst Wadi Rum.

Embark on an exhilarating day of off-roading in the captivating 'Valley of the Moon' – Wadi Rum!

Renowned for being featured in movies like The Martian, and Transformers, it has become a Hollywood favourite in recent years.

Feel the thrill as you navigate through sandy dunes, explore ancient graffiti, and discover natural rock bridges along the old Roman Road on a day full of off-roading on this Jordan road trip.

In the evening, take a break from the wheels to ride a camel and feel the sheer excitement of traversing through the sand dunes during a breathtaking sunset. As the day concludes, gather for a scrumptious dinner and indulge in star gazing under the night sky.

Leaving behind the Martian-like sandscapes, we will head towards Aqaba, Jordan's one and only seaport. The open desert roads give way to glimpses of the Red Sea as you approach this coastal city.

After spending a few days in Wadi Rum, Aqaba offers a refreshing change with cool breezes and blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba. A private yacht and a delightful lunch awaits as soon as you arrive in Aqaba.

In the evening, you can enjoy diving or snorkeling to explore the abundance of marine life in the Red Sea or stroll through the marina at your leisure. Return to your hotel for dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Our next destination is one of the most iconic attractions in Jordan; the lost city of Petra - one of the new 7 Wonders of the World!

The drive to Petra takes you deep into the heart of Jordan’s rugged terrain. This route offers a blend of smooth highways and winding mountain roads, making for an exciting and scenic self-drive experience.

The road begins to curve and climb through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the rose-red rock formations as soon as you arrive in Wadi Musa, the gateway to Petra!

Petra is wonderful in the day, but as soon as dusk falls, it becomes pure magic. By the time we reach, it’d be night time and the city would come alive under millions of stars, ready to embrace you with open arms.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the incredible city of Petra. Once the thriving capital of the Nabataeans (300 BC – 100 AD), Petra is a stunning mix of ancient Eastern influences and Greek-style architecture. Carved into the mountains, this lost city is full of hidden pathways and breathtaking rock-cut structures.

Walk through the Siq, a dramatic narrow canyon that serves as the gateway to Petra, before arriving at the iconic Treasury, the city’s most famous landmark with its intricate rock-cut façade. Continue your Petra City tour with a visit to the Monastery, a stunning hilltop structure that rewards you with breathtaking views. Stroll along the Street of Facades, lined with grand Nabataean tombs carved into the cliffs, and explore the Colonnaded Street, once the bustling heart of Petra filled with markets and temples.

After a day of exploring one of the world’s most iconic archaeological wonders, make your way back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After a relaxed breakfast, we will drive through the Dead Sea highway to reach the shores of Dead Sea which is hundreds of feet below sea level, making it the lowest point on earth. 

As we leave the ancient rose-red city behind, the scenery shifts dramatically—from rocky desert terrain to sweeping valleys and finally to the shimmering shores of the Dead Sea.

Sometimes all it takes to reach a new high is to dive low. Surrounded by barren hills, the Dead Sea has the highest salt content in the world (33%), which means no animal life can survive here, and no one can sink!

By afternoon, we arrive at ourresort and enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterward, you're free to make the most of your time—float effortlessly in the Dead Sea, soak up the sun on the beach, or simply unwind and take in the views of this breathtaking landscape.

All good things come to an end and so must the Jordan road trip. After 7 days of making memories, bonding over a shared love for travel, and ticking off some unforgettable experiences from your bucket list, it’s time for you to catch your flight back home.
