Now that we have established that, let’s talk about one of the most epic overland travel route – The Pan-American Highway. The route is divided in two parts – Pan-American Highway (South America) and Pan-American Highway (North America).
At its fullest extent the Pan-American Highway is a network of roads stretching from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Ushuaia, Argentina, a distance of around 24,000 kilometres. According to Guinness World Records, the Pan-American Highway is the world’s longest “motorable road”. To be honest, we have done the complete stretch during our “The Great Indian World Trip” and we were so fascinated by it that we decided to take you along on this once in a lifetime adventure with us.
No, no, we aren’t talking about driving 24,000 km… but how about 15,000 km? That’s how much you will be driving on the South American Expedición 2018. Now it’s not every day that one gets a chance to drive from top to the bottom of South America. Yes, we are talking about the entire continent!
