In the evening, enjoy a spectacular light and sound, where the Great Pyramid of Giza comes to life with lights and lasers under the night sky.

Day 2

Alexandria – Sightseeing

Ready for a short road-trip? Today, we are heading to Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt, which is approx. 3.5-hour drive from Cairo. Nicknamed the Pearl of the Mediterranean, this city’s atmosphere and vibe is more Mediterranean than Middle Eastern. Experience the grandeur of the city with a visit to Pompey’s Pillar and Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Stop and take in the sights of Quatbay Fort and Alexandria library from outside before hitting the road and heading back to Cairo.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3

Aswan – Nile Cruise

The best way to see Egypt and the relics of its ancient past is by sailing onboard the Nile Cruise and that’s what we have in store for you today. But before boarding the cruise, we will board a short flight to Aswan, a beautiful city set on the East Bank of the Nile. This pretty town is home to some of Egypt’s most spectacular wonders – magnificent temples, the monumental High Dam and beautiful Lake Nasser. We’ll be visiting the Philae Temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess Isis and is a UNESCO site before heading to visit the Unfinished Obelisk, which is the largest known Egyptian obelisk and is estimated to be around 1168 tons. We’ll also be visiting the High Dam in Aswan, before boarding the cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 04

Nile Cruise

Time to enjoy sailing on the swirling, translucent blue waters of the Nile river today! Cruise through time and soak in the sights of the great archaeological wonders of the ancient world. Today, we’ll visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to Sobek – the crocodile god, and Horus – the falcon-headed god. That’s not all! We’ll even be visiting the Temple of Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple. We’ll be accompanied with an Egyptologist to better understand the history and significance of this place.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 05

Nile Cruise

Shipboard life is good, isn’t it? Watch the world go by as you enjoy a relaxing breakfast on board. Today, we will be visiting the East Bank of Luxor, which includes a visit to Luxor Temple (dates from around 1392 BC) and Karnak Temple. The temple of Karnak was known as Ipet-isu—or “Chosen of Places”—by the ancient Egyptians. Karnak Temple has three main sacred areas that honour three gods: Montu, an ancient local warrior god; Amun, the chief god of Thebes; and the goddess Mut, wife of Amun.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 06

Nile Cruise – Luxor

Like all good things come to an end, it’s time to disembark from the Nile Cruise and explore the West Bank of Luxor today. The West Bank – the side the sun sets on – was designated as the land of the Dead, so it’s here you’ll find all the great tombs of the deceased pharaohs and the temples built in their honour, so citizens could pay their respects. This city is a treasure trove of historical highlights and we’ll be visiting some of them today. We’ll be visiting Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 07

Luxor – Cairo

Enjoy the morning time at leisure with a tea in true Egyptian style! If you wish to pick up some Egyptian gift and souvenirs, then head to the market to have your fill of some retail therapy. In the afternoon, we’ll take a flight back to Cairo.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 08

Shutterbugs get ready! Today is the day that you have been waiting for! Are you ready to experience Cairo and its glorious monuments including the Pyramid of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, Khan El Khalili Bazaars and more on your Egyptian vacation? The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest monument on the list of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is one of the seven wonders of the world. We’ll even be visiting the Great Sphinx at Giza, which is probably the most famous sculpture in the world. With a lion’s body and a human head, it represents Ra-Horakhty, a form of the powerful sun god, and is the incarnation of royal power and the protector of the temple doors.

The sights might make you feel like you are part of some of the famous movies like “The Mummy” and “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” that were filmed here.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 09

By now you will have a sassy tan on your shoulder and a LOT of jealous friends (thanks to Instagram). Catch your flight back home with a heart full of memories, new friendships & unforgettable experiences
