Sightseeing Day + Desert Castles
Amman is a fascinating city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. Everywhere there is evidence of the city’s much older past.
Today, take the time to explore the city. We’ll visit the ruins of the Roman theatre and climb up to the citadel for a stunning view over the city rooftops, before heading into the desert to visit some of Jordan’s stunning Desert Castles. They are beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture and stand as testament to a fascinating era in the country’s rich history. Witness the stunning artwork in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Qasr Amra, Al Kharranah palace & Azraq castle before heading back to Amman.
Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman
Today we will be visiting some hidden gems of Jordan that many visitors to Jordan never get to see. After breakfast, we’ll leave for the ancient city of Jerash (known as Gerasa in older times). This immense city was hidden for centuries, buried under the sand before archaeologists excavated and restored it.
You will almost feel the history in every step through the cobblestone paths of the ancient city, as you go on exploring some of the well-kept Roman ruins in Jordan. After that, get ready to enjoy a short journey through a beautiful pine-forest and olive groves to the town of Ajloun. Here, we’ll be visiting the Castle of Ajloun to witness some splendid views of the Jordan Valley. It was an important link in the defensive chain against the Crusaders, who, unsuccessfully spent decades trying to capture the castle and the nearby village. Afterwards, we will return back to our hotel in Amman.

Aqaba – Petra
Rise and shine and live your Hollywood dream today! Start your day with a hearty breakfast before leaving for short drive to rose red city.
Little is known about Petra and its history. It was the capital city of the Nabataeans from roughly 300 BC to 100 AD and was an important crossroads between Arabia, Egypt and Syria-Phoenicia.
Visit the Siq, the Treasury, the Monastery, street of Facades, Colonnaded Street and more on a walking tour with your guide.
Petra is wonderful in day, but Petra by Night is pure magic. Complete your Petra experience with a visit of Petra by Night. Take in the incredible sights as you stroll down the Siq to the Treasury, lit with over 1,500 candles, with the traditional Jordanian music played by the local Bedouins in the background.
Petra – the Dead Sea
You deserve a lazy morning. After a relaxed breakfast, we’ll head towards the Dead Sea. Located at the lowest point on earth, Dead Sea is a true natural wonder. Surrounded by barren hills, this remarkable body of water has an amazingly high salt content (33%), which means no animal life can survive here and it is almost impossible to sink!
Don’t take our word for it, try it yourself! Oh, and don’t forget to take some insta-worthy pictures before you leave.
Dead Sea (Free Day)
Just float in the remarkable water of the Dead Sea or just sunbathe at the beach as you reminisce the days gone by in this beautiful country. It’s a free day, you can decide just whatever you wish to do!
