Day 1

Arrive at Arusha

Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel, located on the wooded slopes of Mount Meru in Arusha, surrounded by lush coffee plantations on the shores of the tranquil Lake Duluti. Designed in the style of an African village, this is the perfect place to relax before embarking on your safari experience. Check-in to your hotel and unwind for a bit, until you meet and greet your fellow travelers over a special welcome dinner.

Day 1 - Arrive at Arusha

Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara

Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park to enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive with a delicious packed lunch. Tarangire is the home of the Tsetse fly, which are aggravating insects present through most of the park. Not even these flies, however, will take away the enjoyment of seeing huge herds of elephants and an incredible variety of bird life as you do a game drive through the park and enroute to the lodge at Lake Manyara. Located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara national park is well-known for its tree mountaineering lions and also attracts thousands of birds, including huge flocks of flamingos. The lake occupies two thirds of the park area and a track within the forest unravels a series of antelopes, primates, and an array of bird species, like the giant silver cheek hornbill. Dinner at the lodge, overlooking the Great Rift Valley and the lake.

Day 2 - Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara – Masai Village – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breath-taking views, as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by afternoon. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Masai and you will see the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon. The Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania and it is home to the largest animal migration on the planet, where hundreds of thousands of animals like the Wildebeest and Zebra trek to find fresh grass and water. Enroute, enjoy a packed lunch and visit a traditional Masai village for an immersive cultural experience of this semi-nomadic tribe. Find yourself in the midst of the daily hustle and bustle of local life as you witness the rituals of the Masai. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the lodge, which is set high on a hill with breathtaking vistas of sweeping grasslands and the unspoiled wild landscape of the Serengeti Plains.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara – Masai Village – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

This is the reason you came to Africa! Charge your camera, grab your binoculars and set out after breakfast, on the most exciting safari for the whole day. Your eagle-eyed driver will keep an eye out for wildlife, as large prides of lions laze in the long grasses, cheetahs try to spot their prey to hunt, the plentiful families of elephants feed on acacia bark and trumpet to each other across the plains. While giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, eland and the whole range of African wildlife present themselves in awe-inspiring numbers. You may also choose the optional Hot Air Balloon Safari in the Serengeti, which is a fantastic once in a lifetime experience, particularly suitable for a bird's eye-view safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the vast savannah, at a spot carefully chosen by your guide. Arrive back at the safari lodge for dinner after a long day of game viewing.

Day 4 - Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On a morning safari post breakfast at the lodge, look out for cackling jackals, brave honey badgers, or long-necked ostriches strutting through the grass. Later, head out of the Serengeti and stop for lunch on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and conservation area. Simply magnificent, the crater was formed by volcanic eruption many thousands of years ago and to-date remains relatively untouched. You also have the option of visiting The Olduvai Gorge enroute, an area where many incredible archaeological discoveries have been found, beautifully lush with grassy land and Tanzanian Acacia trees sweeping majestically on the landscape. Later in the evening, arrive at your lodge located at the rim of the crater, where dinner will be served, after you take in the views of the crater floor filled with countless animals from your private terrace.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, board your land cruiser for an amazing journey as you descend onto the floor of the crater. Being one of Africa's best-known areas for wildlife it is home to 25,000 large mammals as well as lakes, plains and forests. The swamp and forest are home to zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, rhinos, elephants, baboons, and monkeys. Keep your eyes peeled and camera ready to capture a pride of lions or a lone leopard walking along the crater floor. While in the crater, you will enjoy a packed lunch at one of the picnic sites. Later head back to Arusha to relax for the rest of the evening over a special dinner, arranged for our guests to conclude the last night of this wildlife adventure.

Arusha - Departure

Africa is a continent like none other. It has that which makes you realize how elegantly vast nature is, and how awfully little you are! Perhaps that’s why you lose a part of yourself and imbibe a sense of immense gratitude after returning home from Africa. After an adventurous and unique trip, it’s time to head out of Arusha post breakfast, and drive towards Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home. As you take off from Africa, take a moment to reflect on the experiences over the days gone by and return home with a heart full of memories. But, if you couldn’t get enough of the African adventures and would like to extend your trip in Tanzania, we will be happy to assist you with a 3 day extension to Zanzibar or to continue your travels even further, to our next adventure in Kenya.

Day 7 - Arusha - Departure

Optional Extension to Zanzibar

Today you will bid farewell to your fellow travellers, who are returning to India and continue on your journey to Zanzibar. Connect with your flight from Kilimanjaro airport to Zanzibar, the best kept secret in the Indian Ocean, with its fascinating history and magnificent beaches. Arrive at Zanzibar airport and get transferred to your beach resort in Nungwi, your home for the next three nights. You are free to choose how you want to spend your time at this beach hideaway, while we will be happy to assist you with any available tours or activities you may wish to experience.

Day 7, 8 & 9 - Optional Extension to Zanzibar

Zanzibar – Departure

After a relaxing time at the beach, it is now time to bid farewell to this beautiful country. Post breakfast, check-out of your beach resort and get transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home with a heart full of memories that will last a lifetime!

Cancellation Policy

  • 10% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled before 60 days of the departure date
  • 25% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled within 60 – 45 days of the departure date
  • 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled within 45 – 30 days of the departure date
  • 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee if the trip is cancelled within 30 days of departure date

Refund Policy

  • In case of cancellation, the refund will be made in 25-30 working days as per the cancellation policy and subtracting 5% GST on the deposited amount.
  • The refund will be made to the same account/mode through which transfers have been received.
