The Great Indian World Trip is a 15-month journey of epic proportions which was divided into 6 Legs - Asia, Australia, Africa, South America, North America and Europe.

The road trip started from India Gate, New Delhi. Sanjay and Tushar crossed the Indian border and drove through Myanmar, a hidden gem in the sub-continent that was till only a few years ago closed to tourists. They drove on the 16 lane Mandalay-Yangon Expressway and reached Thailand. After a brief stay in Bangkok and Phuket, they crossed Malaysia before concluding their Asia Leg in Singapore.


Sanjay and Tushar shipped their vehicle to Darwin, Australia. This is where they drove for more than 17000 km through the coastal roads and the infamous Australian Outback. In addition to covering all the popular Australian cities, they drove through unheard of places like Wycliffe Well, Coober Peddy, Ceduna, Nullarbor Plains and the Great Sandy Desert. In the process, they created a Guinness World Record for driving the longest distance in Australia.


After shipping their car to Mombasa, Kenya, they drove all the way from Kenya to South Africa covering Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe on the way. They experienced Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti National Park, witnessed the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and explored the Garden Route in South Africa. The African odyssey concluded in Cape Agulhas, South Africa, southernmost tip of the African continent.

South America

The vehicle was shipped to Buenos Aires, Argentina from where they drove to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. From Ushuaia, the duo took the Pan American Highway and drove all the way up to Mexico crossing Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. The journey also took them through the Death Road in Bolivia, considered as the Worlds’ Most Dangerous Road!

North America

Sanjay and Tushar crossed the Mexico-US border and crossed 18 states in the United States. They drove through the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Seattle and Canada before reaching Deadhorse in Alaska, the northernmost tip of Alaska. Here, they were greeted by the Northern Lights. From Deadhorse, they drove all the way to New York City crossing Canada, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, Tennessee and Philadelphia.


From New York, USA, Sanjay and Tushar shipped their vehicle to United Kingdom and drove all the way up to John O’Groats, the northernmost tip of United Kingdom. Further, they drove south to London, crossed the English Channel and entered mainland Europe. They covered 23 countries in Western and Eastern Europe before reaching their final destination and country number 50, Turkey.
